Designed by Denise Perkins of Jamie Merida Interiors in collaboration with Miken Builders, the home embraces its seaside setting through a palette of ocean blues, sun-washed whites, and natural woven materials that bring warmth and personality to every room. Throughout the home, thoughtful details create moments of surprise and delight. A vibrant blue kitchen island anchors the open-concept living space, while woven pendants, cane barstools, and soft linen upholstery introduce a relaxed, collected feel. Custom wallpaper and patterned textiles add character without overwhelming the airy architecture, creating spaces that feel both polished and inviting. The interiors were designed with gathering in mind. Spacious living areas flow seamlessly into the screened porch, where a suspended daybed and generous dining table encourage long afternoons and easy entertaining. Layered blues, natural textures, and abundant light reinforce the connection between indoors and out, bringing the coastal landscape into everyday life. In the bedrooms, soft patterns and tailored millwork create a sense of retreat, while playful details—including custom bunk rooms and graphic wallpaper—offer a nod to family-friendly living. Even the baths reflect the home's coastal spirit, pairing rich blue tile with warm brass accents for a sophisticated take on nautical style.
