High Point Market Spring 2018 Recap

Whew! It has been a whirlwind couple of months! After attending High Point Market in April, I was home for a couple of weeks that were jam-packed with the final installation at our latest hospitality project (can’t wait to share that with you soon!). Then it was off to China for an R&D trip for my Tidewater Collection for Chelsea House. THEN I turned right around and took a much-needed vacation to France with the Handsome Husband to visit his family.

The past few weeks have involved a lot of coffee and not enough sleep, but it was so worth it and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Even though it’s been a few weeks, I still want to share with you my favorite moments and products from High Point Market. This spring’s Market was truly one of the best ever!! I left inspired by new products I can’t wait to offer in the store and use in new design projects. And as always, I had a blast catching up with great friends from the industry.

Favorite Product Lines

From High Point Market Spring 2018

There were soooo many lovely products from some of my favorite vendors at Market this spring!

Trowbridge Gallery had new vintage beach prints that are so fun and fabulous… I really like their playful mid-century vibe!

Wesley Hall launched dozens of beautiful fabrics that I can’t wait to use!

Hickory White showed off some gorgeous pieces. It can be difficult to make a sectional look elegant, but they manage to pull it off! I’m also crushing on this Greek key coffee table and leopard print armchair. So chic and so fun!!

Dash & Albert always kill it with their stunning rugs. This spring, they had several in navy and white that really caught my attention. You know I can never get enough blue and white… #blueandwhiteforever!

Dash & Albert also launched some fabulous indoor/outdoor pillows that caught my eye. I especially liked these fun Hobnail pillows:

Tidewater Collection New Intros

Of course, one of the most exciting things about High Point Market is having our own showroom with Chelsea House! We launched many new products that are part of our Tidewater Collection, and the showroom was stunning – if I do say so myself!

Here’s a look at some of the most popular items from the new launch:

Tidewater Collection Lamps

These lamps are inspired by classic styles that have been reinvented in bright, modern colors. They are the perfect accent to spice up a bedside table or seating area!

Tidewater Collection Animal Accents

These animal accents in antique gold leaf are fun and sophisticated!

Tidewater Collection Medallion Tables

These Medallion Tables are beautiful when used together as a set, but they also offer the flexibility of being used separately as needed. These tables were inspired by the success of our Trio Tables. The medallion shape of the centerpiece again draws on a classic design element that is interpreted in an updated way. Traditional made modern at its finest!

Good Friends at High Point Market

Market was absolutely packed this year, and it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to make new friends too! Third Night, a progressive gala through a variety of themed showrooms, was incredibly fun. And there were plenty of other opportunities to kick up my heels. That’s the great thing about Market… It’s never all work and no play!

I also met two talented women who were absolutely delightful: Natalie Reddell (@nataliereddell), aka COMMANDER in CHIC, and Krissa Wichser (@theblueoctagon), the woman behind a stunning boutique and interior design firm in Pennsylvania. Just look at some of the photos from Krissa’s shop, The Blue Octagon… Fabulous!!

Until Next Time…

We’re already thinking ahead to fall Market and can’t wait for it to get here! In the meantime, be sure you’re following us on Facebook, Instagram, and Houzz for all the latest project and product photos!

P.S. If you like any of the items featured in this post, we can order them for you if we don’t already carry them in the Bountiful Interiors store. Contact us or comment below if you’d like more details!
